Black

Official Standard:

Eye black. The colour should be dense, lustrous black.

I have been breeding black now for several years and am continuously working to improve them. The mice should be black throughout, with no white or tan hairs - this extends even to the toenails, which cannot be white!

Texel

Texel is currently unstandardised in the UK and thus cannot be shown except in special Unstandardised classes. A standard has not yet been proposed for texel but my aim is to breed for woolly, dense coats that retain thickness and some curl into adult age.

I currently breed these curly mice in blue and silver. Blue is a medium slate blue colour with black eyes, and silver is the pink eyed version of blue - a light, silvery coloured mouse with pink eyes.

I breed these purely for temperament at current and my goal is to select a line of mice with the most calm, docile temperaments possible.

Broken

Broken are a fabulous variety that are shown in the marked section. They resemble dalmatians with their white bodies and black spots.

They are a difficult variety to get right for showing and every mouse born usually has unique markings to its littermates. They are, however, incredibly fun to breed even if the outcomes might prove frustrating sometimes!

Broken mice should be spotted or patched all over, have an ear spot and a nose spot on one side.

Longhair

After breeding longhair for years, I unfortunately lost all of my line and am now in the unfortunate position of having to recreate them. Luckily, I have some texel that descend somewhat from the longhairs, so I will try to breed them back again from these. My goal is for long, lustrous coats in a simple pink eyed white colour.
